What is the CVV2/CVC2 code?
This is the three or four-digit security code that is printed on credit cards. The value appears in reverse italic at the top of the signature panel or at the most right hand side in the signature panel on the back of the credit card, or just above the end of the credit card number on the front of the card for American Express Cards. Please note for UK cards these codes may be printed either on the left or middle of the signature area and consist of a 4 digit number followed by the 3 digit number in reverse italic. |
