Initial Directory
This is the folder to which RealCart will publish your store. If you leave this folder name blank then RealCart will attempt to publish to the folder it connects to upon logging in to your FTP host address (FTP server). In some cases RealCart can publish just fine with this setting left blank.
If you receive errors when publishing or if you publish your store but cannot view it on your web site after publishing is complete then you probably need to define this setting before you will be able to publish your store with RealCart’s Publishing Wizard.

Location of cgi-bin on your server
Under most circumstances you will not need to change this setting. Unless you are using the My NT Server or My UNIX Server checkout server methods then the CGI folder is not used at all. If your CGI folder is called something OTHER THAN cgi-bin you can change the name of it here. Unless you have a specific reason to change this setting you should leave it as cgi-bin.
Create cgi-bin folder if needed...
If this button is checked then RealCart will attempt to create a cgi folder on your web server if none exists.
Use passive transfer mode
Passive mode allows the publishing wizard to upload your files much faster
Transfer Sleep Time
If you are getting "socket timed out" errors increase this number to 200 and then work your way down from there. This setting is the number of milliseconds to delay between sending packets. Slower connections generally need more time.
