Departments
RealCart allows you to organize your products into different departments. This will allow your customers to go directly to the type of products they wish to buy. If you are creating a new store for the first time, you will see the category “All Products” already listed. If you don’t wish to have different categories of products, you can simply hit 'Next' and all the products entered into your RealCart storefront will automatically go into the “All Products” department.
If you have other departments listed here, simply put a check mark next to each department in which you want your product to be included. You can select or unselect a department by clicking the box next to each department. A product will appear in each department that has a checkmark next to it. A product will not appear in any department that does not have a checkmark next to it.
To add, rename or delete departments, or choose products for a particular department simply click the Department Manager button to open the Department Manager. Keep in mind that the “All Products” department cannot be deleted but it can be renamed.
