Do you wish to display a Thumbnail Preview?

A thumbnail preview or, in other words, a picture of your product, is an excellent tool for getting customers excited about your product. We all know it's a lot easier to REALLY want something when we can see it.

Easy Step by Step...

Use the following steps to add a picture of your product to its product page.

Click inside the circle next to “Yes” to indicate you want to add a picture.
Click on the “Click to select a thumbnail image” button.
A file open dialog will appear. Locate your images on the hard drive then highlight the one you want by clicking on it. NOTE: If you do not see the picture file that you want, you will need to browse to the correct folder on your hard drive where the picture file is located.
You will be shown, at the bottom, a preview of the picture you chose. Click on “Open”. NOTE: If you do not see a preview image you will need to choose a different picture. The program will only show GIF and baseline JPGs. Progressive JPG files are not compatible with the WWW and that is why they do not display in the preview area.

If you have to use an image that is not showing up in the preview area you will need to convert it to a baseline JPG file FIRST. For more information please read this FAQ.

Please remember that the SIZE of your image is very important. Most customers that will visit your site have 800x600 screens. You will want them to be able to see ALL of your image within their browser window.

Zoom Images

Zoom images are closer up views of your product. For example, you may want to show the detailed stitching on your best-selling sweater or the inlay on a curio box. These kinds of features are best displayed with Zoom images.

If you select “Yes” here, you will again see a listing of image files on your own hard drive to choose from. Select and open the image in the same way as the thumbnail image was selected.

Again, size DOES matter here, so be careful that your customer will be able to see the entire image. Follow the same steps listed above to add a zoom image.
