Main Menu > Checkout Wizard > Shipping Charges

For best results please always define your cheapest (or slowest) method of shipping first. This will cause the cheapest method to appear first in your shipping drop down menu. The first shipping method defined is also called the default shipping method meaning that if your shopper fails to choose a shipping method at the time of checkout then this is the shipping method that will get used.

This drop down menu lists the various types of shipping schemes supported by the program. Your choices are:

Weight — Shipping based on Weight will charge shipping based on the total weight of the order.
Quantity — Shipping based on Quantity will charge shipping based on how many items are in the order.
Price — Shipping based on Price will charge shipping based on the total cost of the order.
Flat Rate — Shipping based on a Flat Rate will charge a fixed shipping fee per order regardless of weight or quantity of the products purchased.

Shipping Details

Once you have determined what you would like your shipping based on, and if this is your first time filling out your store’s shipping information, go ahead and click on the “Add” button. On the new dialog box that opens, fill in what label you would like displayed on your checkout page, (e.g. FedEx, UPS, USPS). Add any handling fee that you may want to charge, if any. Then click on the “Add” button on this page to enter the exact shipping charges. You can specify a different charge for as many criteria as you desire. When you have finished entering information, click on “OK”.
