Store Name

The Name of your Store. (If different from your company name or site name. Your Store name appears at the top of your product pages and or department and catalog pages depending on which theme you are using. For best results you should not have an apostrophe in the name of your store. If you must use an apostrophe (e.g. Mike's Toy Store) use the HTML equivalent: )

Site Name

The Name of your Site. (use your company name if you do not have a specific name for your web site, e.g. Toy Online.) The Site name will appear at the bottom of your store pages next to the copyright date. This value also appears at the top of the shopping cart help screen.

Site URL

The Base URL to your site. “Base URL” means the domain, or domain and directory combination that leads to your site’s front page.

Examples:

http://www.abc.com
http://www.123.net/~abc

What you should not include in your Site URL is any filename at the end of the URL.

These are examples of incorrect Site URLs:

http://www.123.net/~abc/index.htm
http://www.xyz.net/~acme/home.asp

Secure Server URL - Optional

As a general rule, if you do not know what is meant by “Secure Server URL”, then you do not need to enter anything in this field. Leave it blank.

If you have access to a secure (SSL) server, or if one has been provided to your as a part of your web hosting plan, you can install RealCart to this secure space. Enter the URL to the SSL Secure Server here. As with the “Base URL” this field needs to contain the domain, or domain and directory combination that leads to your secure page beginning with https://.

NOTE: This is NOT where you enter the path to Authorize.Net, BluePay, WorldPay, PayPal or any other secure order provider. That path is entered in the Checkout wizard.
